We had a nice, relaxing Sunday. This morning we went to church like we normally do. It was a treat because the bishop was there. He is retiring, so it was his last "official" visit to our church. He gave a humble, sincere and moving sermon and confirmed/received our newest members.
After mass we had a wonderful potluck lunch. There were two tables filled with meats, vegetables, salads and breads. Todd made two pans of deviled eggs that were gobbled up pretty quickly. The dessert table had at least 15 different treats. I limited myself to a cookie that looked a little bit healthy and some kind of blueberry cake/pudding concoction. Todd said that he has some bread pudding that was delicious and a few other treats.
We spent the afternoon hanging out around the house. Todd cooked as usual. On Sunday's he cooks for the week. Today he made a huge pot of red beads, barbequed some sausage and made some spaghetti and meat sauce. The boys hung out, read and played some video games.
